I’m not going to lie. I’ve been a tad bit jealous of all of the snow day pictures my Atlanta friends have been posting. It made me reminisce of our snowy days there where the whole cul de sac came out for sledding, snowball fights and snowman building. We were also there for Snowmagedon..and what a hot mess, but that crazy-day aside, the snow- covered trees and rosy-cheeked kid pics have me feeling a bit nostalgic.
So I decided to take my feelings out on those damn elves by creating our own snowball fight, on our pool table! I don’t know if you have these, but if not, you need to buy them now. Snowtime Snowballs are fluffy, fabric snowballs that my kids have used for over 5 years. We received them as a gift and have since purchased two additional buckets as well. Pierson can throw the balls, full-speed at his brother without injuring him or causing obnoxious little brother whining.
So I set up the damn elves on the pool table with their own supply of snow balls and included a couple of edible snow balls just for fun. Mom note here, the edible snowballs are bigger than the toy snowballs. Since I’m not interested in dealing with over-sugared ninjas, I cut them in half.
Crossing our fingers for snow here in Nashville!
